Questions
Do I still need an accountant?
Yes, for statutory filing. LucroVista gives them better books.
Who controls my money?
You do. LucroVista reads statements only.
What counts as a company?
Each legal entity, or each location you run with its own P&L. Two restaurants under one owner are two companies.
Is there a contract?
A monthly subscription, billed in advance. Cancel at least five days before your renewal date to stop the next renewal; access continues to the end of the month you've paid for, then closes.
Can I take my books with me?
Yes — download your statements any time, and a full export of your books and documents on request, during your subscription. Ask before your last paid day: once the subscription ends, access closes.
Is there a limit on documents?
Up to 1,250 receipts, invoices and statements a month per company — several times what a busy café sends. If a company regularly needs more, we'll agree it with you before anything changes.
Which banks and tills do you support?
We add them as customers need them.
How is VAT charged?
Portuguese VAT on Portuguese customers; reverse charge for EU businesses with a valid VAT number; customers outside the EU pay the net price.
